F.A.Q.

Q:  How much hair will I need for a full sew in?

A:  A full sew-in weave with virgin human hair, would need approximately 8 to 10 ounces of hair. We recommend buying 2 bundles of hair for lengths of 10” to 16”. We recommend 3 bundles for lengths 18″ or longer. Keep in mind that since the hair is sold by total weight the rule is: “The longer the hair, the shorter the weft” For Sewing: We suggest that you sew around the weft and not through weft.  You do not want to damage the weft and disrupt the hair,  as going around the weft will also add longevity to your hair. For glue: If you are getting the hair glued in one bundle is enough (we suggest not to bond the hair if you want to reuse for multiple installments)

*It is always best to have more than enough hair as opposed to not having enough*

Q:  Can I color this hair?

A:  This is 100% virgin human hair which is not processed in any way. You can color the hair, however, once virgin hair is treated in any way, it is no longer virgin. Be sure to keep color treated hair conditioned and moisturized.

Q:   What type of hair products should I use?

A:  Treat this hair just like your own. We suggest that you wash the hair before installment by soaking hair in a sink. After installment conditioning, your hair is also very important to keep it soft and manageable. Lastly, we recommend using a deep conditioner on your hair once per week. Let your hair soak in the conditioner for about 10 minutes, but avoid using oil or heavy styling products. The more moisture the more curls or waves.

Q:  Can I go swimming?

A:   It is recommended to braid your hair or put it in a ponytail to keep it from tangling.

Q:  Can the weft be cut?

A:  Yes they can be cut but it is not recommended without a weft sealer.

Q:  How long does Belly Hair hair last?

A:   Belly hair can last for a long time with proper care. Depending on the level of maintenance hair can last anywhere from 12 to 24 months.

Q:  What is Virgin, Full Cuticle, Remy/Remi Hair?

A:    Virgin hair is hair that has NO chemical processing or altering, 100% natural human hair cut from the head of a single or multiple human donors directly.

A:   Full Cuticle refers to virgin, unprocessed hair that has not been subjected to an acid bath cuticle removal or any chemical altering. All cuticles remain intact, facing downward while maintaining the integrity, strength, and sheen of each strand.

A:   Remy/ Remi hair is full cuticle hair that has been collected from the heads of women directly in a method in which all hair strands are facing the same direction to maintain the natural texture pattern. This eliminates tangling problems common in non-virgin low-quality hair.

Q:   Why is Virgin hair so special?

A:    Virgin hair is non-processed, natural, thick and lustrous. It gives the best possible styling and installation options for extensions.
